Top 15 Most Pirated Movies of the Year

Wolf on Wall StreetBeing the most pirated movie of the year isn’t exactly a producer’s wet dream. However, pirating is something that content creators should probably just come to terms with. Obviously, no one wants to be cheated out of an honest day’s work, but that’s what happens when millions of tech savvy cheapskates roam the earth. I take that back, not all pirates are penny pinchers. Believe it or not, content that is difficult to access is one of the main reasons people choose to pirate to begin with. Until a more accessible global medium is established, pirates gonna pirate. With that being said, here are the Top 15 Most Pirated Movies of 2014.

15. Godzilla – 20.9 million downloads

14. Transformers: Age of Extinction – 21.6 million downloads

12. American Hustle – 23.1 million downloads

11. The Hunger Gamers: Catching Fire – 23.5 million downloads
