NFL Ravens Offensive Lineman John Urschel Is A Mathematical Genius And You Didn’t Even Know It
As a self-proclaimed sapiosexual, I must say, NFL Ravens offensive lineman, John Urscel is everything and more. The Penn State grad recently took to Twitter to announce the release of his research paper which was published in the Journal of Computational Mathematics.
My paper, A Cascadic Multigrid Algorithm for Computing the Fiedler Vector…, has been published in the Journal of Computational Mathematics

The 6 foot 3 inches, 302lb, bearded (take note: beards are in) lineman can also come up with a mean math theory.
John Urscel laying down the laws… the math laws. He has earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mathematics.
Urscel even took to twitter on super Pi Day, 3.14.15:
Happy Pi Day!!!! Take some time to check out all of its properties and the amazing things it’s involved in. My favorite is Euler’s identity. — John Urschel (@MathMeetsFball) March 14, 2015
I’m convinced he knows every single decimal place of Pi. And I am all about this nerd life.
