Chance The Rapper Releases A VICE Short Film ‘Mr. Happy’ And It’s Dark

Laced with asphyxiation, pills, multiple suicide attempts and overall depression, Mr. Happy is a short film co-directed by our favorite acid rapper, Chance the Rapper. After this short film, he’ll likely double as “Chance the Actor”. Chance plays the role of Victor, a guy down on his luck who believes death is his only relief. When he stumbles on MrHappy.com and hires a hitman, his life suddenly changes course.

The day before the release of the short film, Chance announced the project on Instagram. Fans were excited to see him deliver.

Almost everyone has found themselves depressed at a point or two. Maybe in the midst of the depression you thought about doing something drastic—something life-changing—something that might make you happy. That could be nice, but it’s scary to actually take the leap and do it. Well, what if there was a service that took care of all the hard stuff for you?
